Hello everyone. This blog is meant to help all you people out there who want to speak German language. Without going into details of grammar, I would like you to be able to speak and understand German. By the way, most native speakers are not aware of the grammatical part of their language. It is the way they learn the language, without being much worried about what is a noun, adjective, adverb, conjunction etc. etc.
I have seen many people struggling to learn German and most importantly trying to understand various aspects of it’s grammar. If we take a moment to think about it we realize that speaking a language does not come with a prerequisite of knowing grammar. You just want to be able to convey your message and express your emotions without thinking at each step about the correctness of a sentence from a grammatical point of view. The aim is to understand what people say to you and make them understand what you want to say.
This is what exactly I will focus on in my blogs. I will help you speak German language in daily life. I will post topics on day to day life which will be situational based, which you may most likely encounter or already have encountered during your routine activities in Germany. We will not only focus on what you say in what circumstances but our focus will also be on different responses you may expect during an interaction with German colleagues, friends, or anyone who speaks German. This methodology will help you speak German language right from day one unlike a structured syllabus taught in school/institute where you need to understand a bunch of things before they can be grouped together to form a meaningful sentence.
When we observe a child who starts to speak his mother tongue, he does not learn alphabets until they are taught to them at home or he goes to school. By this time, however, he already speaks the language and understands it very well. By the time he starts to learn Grammar, he is already fluent in the language. So, why not become a child and adapt his learning methodology. Step by step, building on a language. Sounds exciting ? Let’s get started then!
